CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER AT WMS OF TEXAS

In the Spring of 2015, I helped open an Outpatient Wound Care Center and had the privilege to see first-hand the impact that great wound care can make on a patient's quality of life. Ever since, wound care has been a passion of mine.

WMS has given so many people the opportunity to experience healing in their own home, or any location that they may be in during their healthcare journey. It's exciting to use my experience in Revenue Cycle, Risk Management, Compliance, Hospice, Physician practice management and Hospital leadership to discover new ways to provide quality wound care to patients.

At home, I love to spend time with my husband and family, host parties and travel. We have goats, chickens, ducks, 3 dogs, and 3 kids. We enjoy home improvement projects and working on flower beds.  In my free time, I can usually be found in my garden or at a livestock show watching the girls with their animals.

VP OF IN-HOME OPERATIONS

Ashley is our VP of In-home Operations and has joined our team with 12+ years in the healthcare industry. She received her nursing degree from Hinds Community College in 2012 and has provided quality nursing care in various settings. Prior to joining our team, Ashley led a progam in sales and patient coordination for in-home infusions. Her love for healthcare comes from the rewarding feeling of taking care of a patient and their family member by making them feel special, safe and surrounded by love and not like they are just another number.

Ashley’s favorite thing about wound care is the excitement of patients when they can see their wound getting better each week and the relationships that are built around their wound care experience.

Ashley is married with two sons. She enjoys cooking, traveling, music and spending time with her family and friends. She loves setting goals and challenging herself.

Todd Arnold graduated from Mississippi State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education in 2003 and a Master's Degree in Sports Administration and Physical Education in 2004.

After 16 years of experience in education as an Economics teacher, athletic director, and head basketball coach, he was given an opportunity to help others in a different field and transitioned to wound care with WMS to help grow the company’s footprint in south Mississippi.

The difference that’s being made in others' lives by healing their wounds has made the change in professions instantly rewarding.

Todd loves spending time with his wife and two girls and traveling to see other family and friends.

Lindsey Johnson

REGIONAL DIRECTOR OF LOUISIANA

Lindsey Johnson received her Associate in Nursing from Charity School of Nursing in 2006, while receiving her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from Louisiana State University Health and Science Center in 2009. She is BLS, ACLS, HACP-CMS certified.

After 16 years in the medical field, working critical care, PACU, OR and operational/administrative roles, Lindsey accepted a position with WMS to expand wound care services in her home state of Louisiana.

Lindsey enjoys spending time with her family, being a foodie with her son, traveling and baking. She also has a passion for animals and can, on occasion, be found exploring Nola with her cane corso.

Laura is the Director of Sales for Wound Management Specialists. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Journalism with a minor in English and emphasis in public relations and broadcast from the University of Mississippi in 2005.

She joined our team with fourteen years of sales experience in the medical industry, with six+ of those years focused on wound care. During that time, she was consistently recognized as a top performer in her field. Laura is passionate about helping patients receive the best course of care.

She loves spending time with her family, watching college sports and sitting on the beach.

Joy’s whole career has been dedicated to wound care. With certifications in wound care and hyperbaric treatment, she brings to our team twenty years of hands-on experience in wound care and ten years of experience in hyperbaric treatment.

Her wealth of knowledge and experience makes her our go-to person! She gives credit for her dedication, hard work ethic, and willingness to go above and beyond for her patients to all the passionate mentors she has had in the past. She finds pure joy in helping our patients and their families. What she loves most about wound care is the challenge of finding new ways to heal wounds that have failed traditional treatments.
