Drew Gorney

Drew Gorney is the Chief Financial Officer of Wound Management Specialists. Selected to this role in September 2021, Gorney leads all aspects of the company’s financial strategy, performance, reporting and long-range business planning, as well as controller and audit operations.

Gorney previously served as CFO of a commercial and residential real estate holding company beginning in 2017. He was responsible for capital structure, financing strategy, resource investment and optimization. In addition to his work with finance, he also led commercial strategy and policy and sourcing. He implemented ongoing process improvements across each respective company sector.

Before his work in real estate, Gorney was in accounting and tax compliance in the telecommunications industry for ten years.

Gorney received a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting in 2004 and a Master’s Degree in Taxation from Mississippi State University in 2005.
